Lead on ensuring the availability, performance, and scalability of ECC's critical platforms and digital services.

About the Role

  • Oversee service operations, supporting around 9,000 users and devices. Responsible for all first-line support and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Forecast and manage infrastructure and user resources to align with business growth.
  • Drive the adoption and development of new solutions and systems
  • Draw on expertise, influence and networks to drive and deliver improved infrastructure, platform, and user services for ECC, exemplifying high standards of user-centricity. Handle both commissioned and in-house services with expertise in technology contracting.
  • Manage multi-million-pound device, network, and platform contracts.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience: Proven success of running a digital/ technology function of similar scale either within Local Government or the Public Sector or potentially within a similar scale private sector business or consultancy.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills and behaviours with the ability to inspire others, drive cultural change and forge strong teams from diverse backgrounds to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Collaboration: Able to influence both strategically and corporately in a complex organisation. Understanding and/or experience of working in a political environment including with senior leaders.
