Home Care Assistant – Saffron Walden

Essex County Council are currently looking for home care assistants to join external care providers throughout Saffron Walden and surrounding areas. Locations include

The shift patterns vary with both full time and part time hours available and will require day, evening and weekend working. Shift times can be discussed at interview stage.
We are currently working with a number of different care providers throughout Saffron Walden and surrounding areas who provide home care with their recruitment needs. Home care agencies provide care and support to residents throughout Essex in their own homes, this includes working with the elderly, vulnerable adults and adults with complex needs. You can be providing care to a number of different people in one day so you will need to be able to travel around the community with ease.
As a home care assistant you will play a pivotal role providing support to someone who requires additional support to live their day-to-day life.
- Personal care
- Assisting with mealtimes
- Assisting with housekeeping and general house management
- Promote of mental and physical activity including outing in the community and sharing in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies, and recreations

Please note as this is a home care role, applicants will need to have a full driver’s licence and access to their own vehicle.
