Essex County Council are pleased to be working on behalf of North Herts Council to recruit the role of Senior Estates Surveyor.

Please note that this is a temporary opportunity for a period of 3-6 months. 

This role can offer the flexibility to work from the office as well as home, with the expectation of being in the office 2-3 days per week.

The Opportunity

You will serve as the principal professional advisor on all aspects of strategic and operational estate management. Your role entails overseeing and taking charge of all estate management affairs concerning the Council's property interests. Collaborating with the Asset Management Group, you will offer invaluable guidance on the formulation, enhancement, and direction of their strategies and plans. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in disseminating pertinent advice and information to various Council service divisions, members, tenants, and the public, ensuring comprehensive understanding and engagement with property-related issues. Your expertise and insights will be instrumental in shaping the Council's property landscape and fostering effective communication among stakeholders.

The Experience You Will Bring

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Surveyor who holds full Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors together with RICS Registered Valuer status and has a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge relating to the management of a diverse land and property asset portfolio.
