Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Basildon Borough Council (BBC) to recruit a Stock Conditions Co-ordinator on an initial 6-month temporary basis. Please note that these posts will be based in the office 3 days per week.

Main Responsibilities

  • To undertake administrative and statistical functions relating to the general operation of the Stock Condition Team
  • To maintain and update the stock condition database as required
  • To facilitate the efficient operation of stock condition surveys by keeping tenants informed and arranging appointments as appropriate
  • To report and log HHSRS issues found during stock condition surveys to relevant department for action
  • To maintain appropriate records and key performance indicators, as required; and produce the relevant information on a regular basis
  • To liaise with Tenancy and Estate Management staff and other stakeholders or agencies to investigate and minimise non-access issues where works or surveys are required

Key skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrable experience of data inputting
  • Experience of successfully dealing with customer enquiries
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
