The Opportunity at Castle Point Borough Council
Our vision is to create a modern Council, characterised by a dedicated and motivated workforce, which places residents and customers at the heart of everything they do.
Castle Point Borough Council is changing. We are transforming and modernising to ensure the authority meets the local government challenges of both today and tomorrow. At the heart of this transformation is a full organisation redesign. Starting at the top and working right through the organisation, we are restructuring the officer core and reimagining the way we deliver our services.
Transformation of this kind requires great leadership, and we are seeking strategic and creative senior leaders who can enthuse their colleagues, drive forward change, and deliver for our communities. In return you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in helping shape our Borough’s future by and overseeing the design of how we deliver our services.

A warm welcome from our Leader
“We are at the start of a process of organisation redesign and are seeking people who can deliver our vision, achieve our objectives and lead and support our staff to achieve their potential.
Our focus is our residents and delivering for them. As a coalition administration of independent parties we are proud that we are not influenced by the national party politics dominating local government. We have been given a strong mandate by our residents and within a year we have begun to bring about significant change.
We know that if we are to continue to deliver in the years to come, we must structure our Council so that it is modern; dynamic in the way it delivers services and cost effective in the way it operates.
Our coalition took office with a pledge to deliver the best for our residents. If you believe you can play a key role in achieving this ambition we welcome your application.”
