The Role:
This role involves working as part of a Business Service Support Team to deliver effective, routine administrative support; learning and developing an understanding of existing processes and systems and developing knowledge of Adult Social Care. This is an integrated role working with the Countywide Duty Team who provide telephony support to Adults within the community.
About You:
You will:
- Have a good standard of basic education – 5 GCSEs grade C and above (including Maths and English).
- Have a minimum of 6 months office experience.
- Telephony experience is preferred.
- Have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Have good decision-making skills.
- Be resilient.
- Have a good working knowledge of all MS Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel.
- Be able to work to deadlines.
- Have good interpersonal and customer communication skills.
- Have the ability to use initiative.
- Have a good attention to detail.
- Customer service experience desirable.
- Be forward-thinking and able to think of ways to improve the service.
What will you be doing?
- You will be the first point of contact for administration within the team.
- Handling inbound and outbound calls for the Countywide Duty Team from professionals, care providers, service users etc.
- Directing calls and work to the appropriate teams/workers.
- Gather information and utilise the Mosaic system to record information.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
- Send out of information in line with GDPR.
- Specific individual and shared targets and objectives are defined annually within the performance management framework.
