Essex County Council are pleased to be supporting a local authority client, based in Essex who are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Health Food Officer. This role is being offered on a 1 day a week basis and will require the indivual to travel around the district to complete the inspections.
The Role:
The role will require the person to carry out a full range of risk category Food Hygiene inspections. The majority of inspections will be category D and new unrated.
This a temporary agency post for one day per week (up to 8 paid hours per week). We are looking for an early January 2026 start, for a period of three months.
Experience/Qualifications:
This role will require you to hold the EHORB Registration or Higher Certificate in Food Control, and up to date CPD including 10 hours core food training must be provided.
