This is an exciting opportunity to join Uttlesford District Council at a pivotal time. As Project Support Officer, you will provide vital support to enable the smooth running of programme and project activity within our Corporate Programme.

You will coordinate project and programme tasks, maintain documentation, assist with reporting and monitoring progress across specific projects and workstreams. You will also help embed project practice and skills by maintaining and enhancing the library of project management tools and templates and supporting development of learning and skills for the organisation.

About You

  • We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual with:
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques for organising complex work packages and priorities
  • Awareness of project methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS/SharePoint)
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

Experience in supporting projects or similar activities within a large, complex organisation is desirable.
