Seasonal Outdoor Activity Instructor – Essex Outdoors
Fixed Term, Full Time and Part Time
£12.10 per hour, pending 2025 pay award

We are now recruiting for our 2025 season at Essex Outdoors!
Do you enjoy adventure and working with young people?
If you are 18 or older, you can join Essex Outdoors as a Seasonal Instructor and have an amazing experience delivering outdoor activities for our diverse customers. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team, and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain nationally recognised qualifications.
A standard day at our residential centres begins at 8.30am and finishes around 5.30pm. During the season this may change slightly but you’ll receive time off in lieu of hours worked beyond those contracted.

Our centres:
Bradwell – Our coastal sailing and powerboat centre. A season here could see you out on the water, leading sessions on the beach or biking around the peninsular.
Danbury – A large centre set on a 70-acre site of beautiful countryside and woodlands. Danbury runs a large range of both land-based and water-based activities.
Mersea – A large centre in a wonderful coastal setting with views across the Blackwater Estuary. Mersea offers a vast selection of both land and water-based activities.
Harlow– A specialist climbing and paddle-sport centre, our Harlow site is also home to ‘The Lock’ – one of the largest indoor climbing walls in the Southeast.
Due to the rural location of some of our centres, public transport can be limited. Some of our centres may be able to offer the opportunity to stay on site. Please indicate on your application if this is something you would require. Otherwise please ensure you are happy and able to travel to your desired centre’s location daily.

As a seasonal worker you will be required to work between April and September. Both full time and part time hours are available and can be discussed further at interview.
